Mandatory Field Validation Feature Summary
Purpose:
The Mandatory Field Validation feature aims to guide users directly to the missing field when attempting to save an event setup page, ensuring mandatory fields are not overlooked and reducing frustration.
Key Behavior:
When a user attempts to save without completing a mandatory field, the system blocks the save operation.An error message is displayed indicating which field is missing.The system navigates to the card containing the missing field, expanding it so the field is visible.The cursor is focused on the missing field.The field is visually highlighted until corrected.Additional Behavior:
If multiple mandatory fields are missing, all must be highlighted, and the system guides the user to the first failed field.Once corrected, the user can save successfully without repeating the process.Error messages persist until corrected.Validation behavior is consistent across all event setup workflows.Out of Scope:
