How to Use This Feature

Default Values for Ticket Category and Ticket Type

* Purpose: Display default values when adding a price code in event and event series setup to make the current flow easier and more dynamic.

* Who is affected by this feature: Happsnow users (partner id 1) only.

Behavior:

  • In event series setup:

    • + Default value for ticket category: "Season"

    + Default value for ticket type when "Season" ticket type category is selected: "Standard"

  • In event setup:

    • + Default value for ticket category: "Single"

    + Default value for ticket type when "Single" ticket type category is selected: "Single"

    Requirements:

  • Partner id 1 only can create/update default values.
  • Default values must have partnerId equal to 1 to identify them as default.

    • Acceptance Criteria:

    Two scenarios are defined:

  • Adding a new price code in event series setup:

    • + The user should see "Season" as the default ticket category.

    + The user should see "Standard" as the default ticket type.

  • Adding a new price code in event setup:

    • + The user should see "Single" as the default ticket category.

    + The user should see "Single" as the default ticket type.

    Pain Point: Defaults do not cover all use cases, forcing manual edits elsewhere.
