How to Use This Feature

Summary:

The "Stripe Auth without Settle/Capture call" feature is not functioning correctly, causing customer funds to be held but orders not appearing in the customer's account. This issue affects secondary orders (NFL events) and results in customers seeing no record of purchase in MyTickets.

Key Behavior:

  • Stripe auth call holds customer's funds in pending state
  • No capture call made after successful auth
  • Customer sees no record of purchase in MyTickets
  • Orders appear to be delivered despite payment not being captured

    • Related Tickets:

  • SIT-13774 and SIT-13776 are related tickets that have been previously discussed.

    • Current Status:

    The issue is currently under UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with a priority of 9. The development team, led by Harry Orenstein, is working to resolve the issue.

    Next Steps:

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis study on this issue
  • Deploy fix to Production
